The Asus ZenBook 17 Fold OLED is a flexible laptop that does not have a keyboard
Flexible smartphones are gaining more and more popularity. It’s only a matter of time before they become available to the mass consumer. The technology promises to find application in a number of devices, including laptops. Asus is actively experimenting with the flexible form factor and has now officially presented the ZenBook 17 Fold OLED .
As the name suggests, this is a flexible laptop that attracts attention with its 17.3-inch OLED display. A special mechanism in the middle allows you to fold the device into a form factor with two 3:2 displays at 1920×1280 resolution, reports HowToGeek. The company promises trouble-free operation even after 30,000 folding cycles.
Asus specifies that the display of the flexible laptop is PANTONE validated for color accuracy and covers 100% of sounds in the DCI-P3 range. The refresh rate is 60Hz. Users will be able to use the device in several different modes. Additional optimizations optimize the performance of Windows 11 for the flexible screen.
High performance is guaranteed by 12th generation Intel processors and 16GB of RAM. Different versions can be configured with up to 1TB PCle SSD. The battery is 75Whr and provides up to nine and a half hours of operation time on a single charge.
