Microsoft adds three tools to PowerToys

Tech giant Microsoft’s free set of different types of tools for Windows 10 and 11, PowerToys, has got a new extension. Microsoft has just today released PowerToys 0.62.

The various current tools include Always On Top, Awake, Color Picker, FancyZones, Image Resizer, Keyboard Manager, PowerRename, PowerToys Run, Quick Guide, Video Conference Mute, and various file explorer add-ons and mouse tools, the outlet writes.

The new features are called Screen Ruler, Quick Accent, and Text Extractor.

Screen Ruler: A quick way to measure pixels on your screen.

Quick Accent: A tool for typing letters with accents on them.

Text Extractor: A way to copy the text out of a selected area using OCR and place the text in the clipboard.
