Colossal iPad in the making: Apple combines a giant screen with the powerful M2 processor

Several sources indicate that Apple will go beyond its very largest iPad Pro models,

While Apple stubbornly sticks to its smallest tablets in the portfolio, such as the tiny iPad Mini, several sources indicate that a new class of giant tablets from the manufacturer is on the way.

According to two independent sources close to Apple supply chains, Apple is giving birth to a larger iPad Pro whose screen will span a whopping 14.1 inches. That’s what the tech media writes Apple Insider.

That’s a good three centimetres more screen than Apple’s biggest iPad today, the iPad Pro 12.9.

As with Apple’s current large tablet, it will be mini-LED technology that will illuminate one’s apps and games on the digital screen.

The computing power itself is to be provided by the just announced M2 processor, which according to Apple itself is somewhere between 20 and 30 percent faster than the current M1 processor.

If the rumours are to be believed, Apple will present its new giant tablet to the public sometime in early 2023.
